How IT all began

In 1998, EK Computer, Inc. was founded with the ideals of providing knowledgeable, reliable and responsive information technology service to customers. Since then, EK Computer has grown to include three locations in Northwest Ohio with more than 20 highly skilled technicians with over 280 contractual clients.

    Ek Computer Inc was founded in 1998 as business consulting firm in Defiance, OH with a passion for personal service and consulting tailored to the client’s needs and not profit.

    We seized the opportunity to become the only IT provider in Napoleon and opened our first retail store.

    We moved to our existing location @ 103 Shelby St in Napoleon to allow for further growth and invest in a piece of Downtown Napoleon.

    We purchased Solid Rock Computers to extend our retail presence.

    We purchased Computer Plus in Swanton, OH to extend our retail presence even further.

  • 2014

    We refocused our core business model on being an MSP or Managed Service Provider.

    Sold Solid Rock Computers as demands and market changes.

    We purchased Watchtower IT Services in Findlay, OH to expand our Managed Services to more of the Northwest Ohio region.

    We sold our Napoleon retail space to Gig Above Computer Services, allowing us to focus entirely on our business clients and growing their businesses.

    CIS from Defiance, OH merged with EK Computer, Inc. to solidify our business partnership and propel our IT excellence into the tri-state area.
